    Norms relaxed for telcos to raise funds overseas for 2G (HBL)
    The RBI today relaxed norms allowing telecom companies to raise long term funds from overseas to refinance domestic loans taken by them to pay for 2G spectrum, a move that will help the stressed sector.
    Vodafone opts to pay 2G auction money in instalments (HBL)
    Vodafone India, which had won additional spectrum in 14 circles, has written to the DoT to this effect. Vodafone had bid Rs 1,128 crore for the 14 circles. Most of the bidders have opted to pay the money in instalments.

    Embattled Chinese vendors Huawei and ZTE are willing to offer the Indian government unrestricted access to the software source codes of all their products as they attempt to ease concerns about a security threat.
