CBS' Sharyl Attkisson: Kerry Won't Make Benghazi Survivors Available for Congressional Testimony

Posted: 10 Sep 2013 02:34 PM PDT

(Via PJ Media) - The administration that wants America to trust it on Syria is continuing its cover-up of Benghazi. CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson posted this on Facebook this afternoon:

Secretary of State John Kerry has told House Oversight Committee he will not comply with Republican requests to make Benghazi survivors available for interviews by Congress. Chairman Issa R-CA says if Kerry doesn't change his mind, there could be subpoenas.
There is one and only one reason for Kerry to want to prevent Americans from testifying about Benghazi: they have something to say that Kerry and Obama don't want America to hear.

So much for Obama's claim of having the most transparent administration in history!:

Suggested reads that prove Obama is simply making sh*t up ... lying:

The Huffington Post - The self-proclaimed "most transparent Administration in history" just rejected more FOIA requests than ever, a 22% increase.

'The Worst Day in Western Diplomatic History'

Posted: 10 Sep 2013 01:55 PM PDT

Charles Crawford makes the case that Monday 9 September, 2013 was the worse day for US and wider Western diplomacy since records began ... (and yes it has to do with the 'stumblebum' 'gafster' John Kerry) (hat tip - Rich Lowry):

Chemical weapons are relatively easy to make and store (and fire), but much harder to dismantle safely. The chemicals themselves are fiendishly dangerous and need to be destroyed with specialist equipment without creating environmental hazards. Plus the explosive part of the delivery shell needs careful handling. Destroying CW stocks is therefore a complex and expensive operation, even under calm conditions. Both the United States and Russia have both heavily failed to meet internationally agreed deadlines for destroying their massive Cold War legacy chemical weapons stocks.

There is no precedent for attempting anything like this in a country wracked by civil war. It just can't happen. No Syrian chemical weapons will be destroyed or "handed over" quickly.

Meanwhile any new process of setting up an international monitoring and destruction regime will require painstaking UN and wider negotiation with the Assad regime, thereby giving Assad and his state apparatus a massive boost of renewed confidence and legitimacy. Before long Washington may find itself locked on to implicitly or even explicitly supporting Assad in his civil war as the best chance to get some sort of internationally agreed CW destruction programme delivered in Syria.

How has this happened?

Be sure to read the rest at The Telegraph.

Victor Davis Hanson On Obama's Farce

Posted: 10 Sep 2013 12:58 PM PDT

Today at NRO, Victor Davis Hanson pegs Obama's arguments for attacking Syria for exactly what it is ... a farce ... saying that Barack Obama has sold his plan for bombing Syria on flawed political assumptions and to support the president's enforcement of his red line in Syria requires suspensions of disbelief.

Hanson writes:

I wish it were not true, but there is scant evidence that the world, led by the U.S., went to war in the past over the use of weapons of mass destruction -- whether by Gamel Nasser in Yemen or by Saddam Hussein against the Kurds and the Iranians. Understandably, the current West's reaction, including Obama's, to possible Syrian WMD use is calibrated mostly on the dangers of intervention, not the use of WMD per se. Thus Obama is now focusing on Syria in a way he is not, at least overtly, on Iran, the far greater WMD threat, because he believes the former could be handled with two days' worth of Tomahawks and the latter could not. That would be understandable pragmatism if it were not dressed up in the current humanitarian bluster about red lines and the "international community."

Obama, I think, is inadvertently doing the terrible arithmetic that the last 1,000 Syrians killed by the Assad regime pose a humanitarian crisis that demands his intervention in a way that the first 99,000 did not -- on the theory that WMD represent an existential threat. (In fact, from the trenches of World War I to Hiroshima, WMD have never killed more than contemporary horrific conventional weaponry has.) So far Obama has not made that case. We can only wonder whether the forgotten hundreds of thousands butchered from Rwanda to Darfur -- without so much as one Tomahawk or Hellfire launched on their behalf -- might have been saved had only their killers begun their devilry with sarin gas.

[...] In the present circumstances, to make the argument for attacking Syria he must assume that congressional authorization is an eleventh-hour afterthought and not necessarily binding, that the U.N. is mostly hocus-pocus and not worth the bother, and that overwhelming public opposition does not matter.

There are so many contradictions and hypocrisies in such thinking as to render it farcical. ...

Take the time to read the whole thing.

Hanson goes on to make his point further and effectively, and at the time of this post Obama has asked Congress to put the debate over a possible military strike effectively on hold as he backs away further from his "red line" and opens the door to a "diplomatic track." This, when even the most dimwitted among us is astute enough to know that there is little to no chance whatsoever that Assad could hand over all of his chemical weapons in the middle of a civil war for his survival, even if he wanted to. Furthermore, adding to Obama's farce - experts say it will take YEARS to remove the arsenal.

And we're suppose to trust Syria and the Russian's? Or the UN? Perhaps even worse than both ... Obama's administration?

What a mess our president has made of this. As Glenn Reynolds suggested yesterday in USA Today, his handling of the whole Syria situation has made the presidency a laughing stock.

Meanwhile, the U.N. Security Council has canceled a meeting on a resolution aimed at securing and destroying Syria's chemical weapons stockpiles after Russia withdraws. In other words, in the words of Ace, the Russians have done exactly what everyone except the White House brain trust knew they would do. Putin is making Obama look like a total fool ... now saying that the US must renounce all future intention of using force against Syria, and then they'll have a debate on Syria turning its weapons over to international monitoring.

And by the way ... Romney was right all along!

They laugh at you.

And me. I'm not laughing.

From The Blood Of The Lamb - JEB BUSH TO AWARD HILLARY 'LIBERTY MEDAL' ON EVE OF BENGHAZI ANNIVERSARY

This is my Paul Begley moment: WHAAAAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS? This story is so sickening! Our illuminati leaders are slapping us in the face once again. Let me get this straight: Jeb Bush of the Luciferian/globalist Bush family is awarding Hillary Rodham Clinton of the Luciferian/globalist Rodham and Clinton families an award for LIBERTY? What a sick joke when globalism is anything but liberty promoting! They even have the brass to give Hillary this award on the eve of the anniversary of the 9-11 Benghazi false flag attack. Report: Obamacare Regulations Are 8 Times Longer Than Bible

Posted: 10 Sep 2013 07:45 AM PDT

No surprise, right? Pardon my sarcasm but after all, wasn't it 'handed down' to Congressional Democrats for passage by their 'liberal-progressive messiah?

obamacarepages_0.jpg

Via CNSNews.com:

Since March 2010, when President Barack Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and its companion Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (HCERA), the administration has published in the Federal Register 109 final regulations governing how Obamacare will be implemented. These regulations add up to 10,516 pages in the Federal Register -- or more than eight times as many pages as there are in the Gutenberg Bible, which has 642 two-sided leaves or 1,286 pages.

Using the regulations.gov website and the Federal Register itself, CNSNews.com found 109 distinct regulations for the implementation of PPACA and the health-care related provisions of HCERA that had been finalized by various federal agencies and published in the Federal Register as of Sept. 9, 2013.

[...] The 109 final Obamacare rules that have been published in the Federal Register so far take up 10,516 pages in the register. These pages carry an average of about 1,000 words each. So, the final Obamacare regulations published so far amount to approximately 10,516,000 words.

Protection of Christian holy places in Maalula, Syria called for by ... Russia!

Posted: 10 Sep 2013 07:11 AM PDT

image-288020-panoV9free-cjjf.jpg

You read that right. Russia, not the U.S., is calling for the protection of Christian holy places in Syria. America, under Barack Obama, sits on the side lines appearing to be either on the side of the jihadists or having no concern for what happens to the Christians and their holy places!

From Interfax, September 6:

The Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed concern over the attempts made by the armed opposition in Syria to take over the city of Maalula, a symbol of the Christian presence in Syria.

"Moscow is deeply concerned over the fact that terrorist attacks in Syria have affected Maalula, a symbol of the Christian presence in this country. Its residents speak the Aramaic language, which is almost extinct and is the language in which Jesus Christ preached, and the churches located in this city are among the oldest and most honored churches of Christians," the Russian Foreign Ministry's information and press department said in a commentary released on Friday.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called "on everyone who cares about the fate of the people of Maalula to do everything possible to prevent their killing and the destruction of Christian holy places."

"Terrorist attacks need to be stopped immediately. Special responsibility for them rests with those forces in the region and outside of it that encourage terrorists, intentionally or not," the document says.

Since Maalula has been taken over by al-Qaeda-linked rebels, Maaloula has become "a ghost town":
[...] "Where is President Obama to see what befallen on us?" asked the man, who fled the village on Sunday. He declined to give his name out of fear for his safety.

Another resident who escaped earlier in the day said Assad's forces were deployed on the outskirts of the village, while gunmen inside refused to allow anybody in. He said that one of the churches, called Demyanos, had been torched and that gunmen stormed into two other churches and robbed them.

A third resident reached by phone said he saw militants forcing some Christian residents to convert to Islam.

"I saw the militants grabbing five villagers Wednesday and threatening them: 'Either you convert to Islam or you will be beheaded,'"he said.

The two other residents said they heard rumors about such conversions but did not see them. The reports could not be independently verified. All three residents spoke on condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation.

Situated about 40 miles (60 kilometers) northeast of Damascus, Maaloula had been firmly under the regime's grip despite sitting in the middle of rebel-held territory east and north of the capital.

The village was a major tourist attraction before the civil war. Some of its residents still speak a version of Aramaic, the language of biblical times believed to have been used by Jesus.

The attack highlights fears among Syrian Christians that the alternative to Assad's regime -- which is made up mostly of Alawites, followers of an offshoot of Shiite Islam -- would not tolerate minority religions.

Barack Obama's abandonment of religious minorities under Islamic attack and under the sharia is most certain to become a significant part of his legacy. When Christians and minority faiths can no longer look to the U.S. for protection and support, and must instead look to Russia, the world has indeed been turned upside down ... and we have no one other tha Obama ... and the Americans who voted for him, to blame for it.

Meanwhile, Syria's Christians are packing their passports, fearing an Islamist onslaught. They are saying that any large-scale rebel offensive in the wake of a U.S.-led campaign could leave the capital's Christian community vulnerable to attacks from Islamist rebel groups at the extreme end of the spectrum.

Humanitarians in our midst

From Bunkerville - 'Humanitarian' Hillary Clinton weighs in on Syrian Morality

How to even opine on the events regarding Syria yesterday. Faster than a speeding bullet. What to even chose. It could have been Susan Rice telling us the truth of the matter. Lurch who really lurched. But to me the real gagger was Hillary Clinton.

Four Americans slaughtered in Benghazi weren't worth Hillary's time and energy, but civil war in Syria? She's not gonna stand for that.

The former secretary of state weighed in this afternoon on possible military strikes against Syria

At two minutes into the video - "This cannot be another excuse for delay or obstruction...." - I would suggest the woman seek medical attention post haste for obvious loss of memory of her own delaying (doctors orders don't ya know) and obstruction of anything Benghazi. Trying to peddle this BS to America, with more and more of her former supporters coming off their own meds - IMO she belongs in a straightjacket!

Park Compounding Sterile Medication: Recall – Concerns of Sterility Assurance

AUDIENCE: Consumer, Pharmacy, Patient, Health Professional

ISSUE:  Park Compounding is voluntarily recalling one lot of sterile medication Testoserone Cypionate (Sesame Oil) 200mg/ml Lot #05072013@1 Exp: 11/3/2013 for injection in 10ml amber vials, to the consumer level. In a recent inspection, FDA investigators observed that methods used by Front Range Laboratories to assess sterility may have resulted in pharmacies receiving inaccurate laboratory test results. FDA has concerns that results obtained from the laboratory are not reliable. If there is microbial contamination in products intended to be sterile, patients are at risk of serious infections which may be life threatening.

BACKGROUND: The prescription preparations were sold during May and June of 2013, in the following states: California and Indiana. The products would have been sold directly to customers (pick up and by mail) and to physician offices by prescription (pick up and by mail).

RECOMMENDATION:  Customers that have product which is being recalled should stop using it and contact Park Compounding to arrange for return of unused product.

Customers with questions regarding this recall can contact Park Compounding Center at 949-551-7195 or at info@parkrx.com. Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm PST. Customers should contact their physician or healthcare provider if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking or using these preparations.

Healthcare professionals and patients are encouraged to report adverse events or side effects related to the use of these products to the FDA's MedWatch Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program:

  • Complete and submit the report Online: www.fda.gov/MedWatch/report.htm
  • Download form or call 1-800-332-1088 to request a reporting form, then complete and return to the address on the pre-addressed form, or submit by fax to 1-800-FDA-0178

Long-acting and extended-release opioids are the only options some patients have for managing pain. FDA is requiring labeling changes aimed at better defining exactly which patients should be candidates for these powerful medications. In addition, manufacturers are being required to conduct studies of their long-term effects.
