Dianchi Lake

The Dianchi Lake Scenic Area is found in the southwest piece of Kunming City. Dianchi Lake is, certainly, the focal point of the resort. There are various attractions along the lake enthralling voyagers. Among these are the Yunnan Ethnic Villages, Grand View Park (Daguan Park), White Fish Park (Baiyukou Park), Haigeng Bank, Kwan-yin Hill, Western Hills Forest Park, sanctuaries and pagodas. Towns, enormous or little close to the lake give guests a chance to encounter traditions of the nearby individuals.

Dianchi Lake 

Measuring about 300 square kilometers (74,132 sections of land), it is the biggest freshwater lake in Yunnan Province and the sixth biggest one in China. With pleasant view and its area on the Yungui Plateau, the lake has a notoriety for being 'A Pearl on the Plateau'. Shockingly, the lake has been seriously contaminated. In spite of the fact that exertions have been made to spare the lake, they have been generally unsuccessful.

The lake is bow formed, about 39 kilometers (24 miles) long and 13 kilometers (8 miles) in width at its amplest. Its regular banks are shaped by mountains on each of the four sides. More than twenty waterways support the lake which has a shoreline of 163.2 kilometers (101 miles). Four encompassing slopes help the beautiful scene, making guests inebriated and wait around.
