
The Mogao Grottoes close Dunhuang City are celebrated for their choice wall painting depictions and Buddha statues. It has 735 grottoes, 450,000 square meters of painting sketches, 2,415 hued Buddha statues made of mud, and more than 50,000 verifiable relics.
