Everest Region & Turphu Monastery Trek

This trek is also called Thurhu Monastery trek. You will travel to Nyalam from Kathmandu and visit Everest base camp. After the visit of EBC you will do some sightseeing in Shigatse, Gyantse and Lhasa including the trek to Turphu Monastery for 4 days.

Day 03: Trek to the Rongbuk Glacier and return

Day 04: Rongbuk---Shigatse

Day 05: Shigatse---Gyantse: Tashilumpo, Shalu, Palkhor

Day 06: Gyantse---Lhasa: Yamdrok Lake
Accommodation: Hotel

Day 07: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala, Jokhang, Barkhor
Accommodation: Hotel

Day 08: Sightseeing in Lhasa:
Tibet Museum, Sera monastery, local family visit

Day 09: Lhasa--Tsurphu
Accommodation: Tents

Day 10: Tsurphu Monastery to Leten (3.5 hours)

Day 11: Leten to Bartso (5 hours)
Accommodation: Tents

Day 12: Bartso to Djore Ling Nunnery (3.5 hours)

Day 13: Djore Ling Nunnery to Yangpachen Monastery (3 hours)

Day 14: Yangpachen—Lhasa

Day 15: Exit Tibet and proceed to your next destination.
