Snowden Cricket

Posted: 29 Aug 2013 06:10 AM PDT

There are a whole lot of crickets living at the White House. This one's nameplate reads - Snowden. Presumably some ambitious reporter asked someone at the White House for comment and I just missed it.

08/02/2013 Edward Snowden asylum means he was likely a Russian spy all along

The Edward Snowden ruling by the Russian immigration authorities is just a little too clever by half.

It smacks of a long term deal based on the fact that Snowden was quite likely spying for Moscow from day one while he was at the NSA.

Now he will be living in Russia and, no doubt, will be heavily debriefed by his masters as to the working of American intelligence. The Russians can hardly believe their luck.

They had fallen far behind the Chinese in infiltrating American spy networks and technology innovations. Now they have knowledge of every available method that America was using against them. More HERE.

Now this. And crickets from the White House -

From Accuracy In Media - NSA Leaker "Outed" as Russian Agent

The media have been given important new information in the case of NSA leaker Edward Snowden and don't seem to know what to do with it. Snowden has been "outed" by the Russians as their agent.

The Washington Post reports that "Before American fugitive Edward Snowden arrived in Moscow in June--an arrival that Russian officials have said caught them by surprise--he spent several days living at the Russian Consulate in Hong Kong, a Moscow newspaper reported Monday."

In other words, the Russians were in on the deception all along. It was an example of what the old Soviet KGB called "disinformation." The Russians wanted people to believe that Snowden was a whistleblower desperately searching for a place to go. Continue HERE.

Feds Push States to Ban Background Checks Because They're "Discriminatory"

Posted: 29 Aug 2013 04:30 AM PDT

Always eager to walk all over the rights of American citizens and, in this case, particularly business owners who feel the need to have trustworthy and honest employees, the very liberal and very progressive Obama administration is pressuring states and municipalities across the U.S. to adopt senseless measures restricting employers from asking job applicants about their criminal history.

In other words, common sense and freedom have once again left the building!

From Judicial Watch:

Bottom line: The feds are coercing local governments to make it illegal for private companies to properly vet job candidates. Assisting in the national movement is a "community organization" in California called Legal Services for Prisoners with Children. The group helped coin the phrase "ban the box" claiming that the questions translate into "lifelong discrimination and exclusion because of a past arrest or conviction record." ...
No surprise, the nonsensical push was instigated by a 'community organization" in loonyville California, surely by people that never ran a business and most of whom probably never had a real job. On the other hand, if they did ... or do, they still lack the good common sense God gave a goose or they'd know that an employer absolutely must have trustworthy, honest, employees who he or she has to depend upon to perform their duties such that he or she doesn't end up getting his company sued or cost his company money.

Fortunately, there's at least one federal judge that does have the good common sense God gave a goose:

Just a few weeks ago a federal judge hearing one of the Obama administration's many background-check discrimination cases in Maryland blasted the claims, calling them "laughable," "distorted," "cherry-picked," "worthless" and "an egregious example of scientific dishonesty." The lashing was delivered in a 34-page opinion lambasting the government's expert data against a family-owned company that started using background checks after being a victim of embezzlement, theft, drug use and workplace violence.
Read the whole thing here.

Sounds like the judge summed up the Obama administration's effort rather succinctly, and it just happens to fit the administration to a 'T': "laughable," "distorted," "cherry-picked," "worthless" and "an egregious example of scientific dishonesty."

Unfortunately, however, numerous states and localities have adopted the "ban the box hiring practices, including my own, which calls for me to add a qualifier to my disgust with the feds interfering with the rights of an employer to know who and what is working for them. I do support EEOC's view that employers should not deny employment based ('solely') on arrest records and should utilize conviction records only after evaluating the nature of the job, the severity of the conviction, the time elapsed since the conviction and the applicant̢۪s rehabilitative efforts."

Dr. King would have been so proud yesterday...

Posted: 29 Aug 2013 05:25 AM PDT

Or maybe not so.

The March On Washington had plenty of politicians doing what they do best - politicking. But there was one politician conspicuously missing - perhaps his invite was lost in the mail?

Via the Washington Examiner - Sen. Tim Scott wasn't invited to event commemorating MLK march on Washington

Sen. Tim Scott, R.-S.C., the only African American serving in the United States Senate, wasn't invited to the event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's march on Washington, though a host of Democratic luminaries spoke on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Continue HERE.

And then there was this -

From SooperMexican - Five Big Lies Made At The 'March On Washington' 50th Anniversary

It really is a proud moment in our history that we can look back to Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, and see so much progress towards fulfilling the promise of equality in the Declaration of Independence.

That's what makes it that much more sullied by pandering politicians hoping to use the event for their political agenda, and harangue Americans with overwrought accusations of racism lurking around every corner.

Here are five big lies made during speeches at the Lincoln Memorial to push liberal agenda items: Continue HERE.

And this -

From American Digest - MLK Celebration Was Just Sad: Everything You Once Thought Highly of Has Now Degenerated.

It's unclear who or what the assembled drones and droolers at today's autofornication festival represented, but it certainly wasn't Americans, African or otherwise. Under no circumstances can what was blathered today be thought of as a credit to the once noble and now nefarious "civil rights movement." Like so many other idealistic visions of its era it has now devolved and degenerated into a gelatinous slab of smarm and slime. I suppose that the best that can be said is that nothing said today will matter in another 50 years. Probably in another 50 months. Cont. HERE (and it ain't pretty).

Jerry Brown wouldn't sign these bills and cows can fly! Take it to the bank!

Via Breitbart - California Considering Non-Citizen Jury Duty

"Under AB1401, non-citizen legal permanent residents would be allowed to serve on juries. Federal law allows such residents - sometimes called 'Green Card Holders' - to stay in the country as long as they like," 89.3 KPCC's Frank Stoltze reported on Monday. "Some are in the process of applying for citizenship. Others choose to remain citizens of other countries."

Democratic Assemblyman Bob Wieckowski, one of the California bill's sponsors, told the local station that this should happen because non-citizens live among Americans as peers.

"The jury system is based on our peers judging us," Bob Wieckowski said. "It's only fair, because so many people living in California are legal permanent residents."

The bill, which faced bipartisan opposition from most Republicans and some Democrats, passed both the state Assembly and Senate and is sitting on Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown's desk awaiting a signature.

This news comes as a similar bill, one that would allow non-citizens to work as paid poll workers at election sites throughout California so they can be Spanish-language translators, also awaits its fate on Brown's desk. Election integrity organizations are adamantly opposed to that poll worker bill and are protesting against it this week.

Today's Must-Read: 'The Muslim Brotherhood: Origins, Efficacy and Reach'

Posted: 28 Aug 2013 06:32 PM PDT

MB.jpgRaymond Ibrahim's highly informative and extensive essay on The Muslim Brotherhood was commissioned and written nearly a year ago but only recently published. In light of the June 30 Revolution and ouster of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, it has been slightly updated. Every American needs to know about this dangerous world-domination-seeking Islamist movement and be aware that there is no doubt that the Brotherhood will continue spearheading the Islamist movement around the world, gaining more and more recruits, both formal and informal, as it edges closer to realizing its ultimate goals.

As you read Ibrahim's piece keep in mind that the MB's slogan is "Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law; the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations." In other words, the overarching goal of the MB and all Islamist and jihadi groups the world over is the establishment of "Allah's rule" on earth ... and all unbelievers must submit or die.

Here's a quick couple of excerpt to pique your interest:

[...] The story of the Muslim Brotherhood, as with many other stories dealing with Islamic importance, begins in Egypt -- which still serves as something of a paradigm of the group's strategies and approach in general. Hassan al-Banna (1906-1949), the son of a mosque imam and Sheikh of the Hanbali school of law, founded the Muslim Brotherhood. Hassan incorporated Sufi views, which tend to be more moderate and which teach, among other things, pragmatism and patience. Of course, in an Islamic context pragmatism and patience can easily take on the form of taqiyya and tawriya -- Islamic doctrines that instruct Muslims to deceive when it is perceived to be in Islam's interest -- and may well explain how Banna came to develop the Muslim Brotherhood's way of operating, to be discussed further below. ...

[...] ... the Brotherhood's English language website describes the "principles of the Muslim Brotherhood" as including firstly the introduction of the Islamic Sharia as "the basis for controlling the affairs of state and society"; and secondly working to unify "Islamic countries and states, mainly among the Arab states, and liberating them from foreign imperialism." In other words, working to unite the Muslim world under a caliphate which it still openly insists is its ultimate goal. Indeed, not too long ago, Muhammad Badie, the current General Guide of the Brotherhood [arrested August 19, 2013], openly declared that "The Imam [Bana] delineated transitional goals and detailed methods to achieve this greatest objective, starting by reforming the individual, followed by building the family, the society, the government, and then a rightly guided caliphate and finally mastership of the world."

It's important for every freedom-loving American to take the time to read Raymond Ibrahim's entire piece and be aware, be very aware, of the history, goals, and objectives of the Islamist organization that Barack Obama is so supportive of: The Muslim Brotherhood: Origins, Efficacy and Reach.

The songs that helped shape the Civil Rights Era

From PumaBydesign001 - The songs that helped shape the Civil Rights Era

Today is the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s March on Washington, D.C. and Dr. King's infamous "I Have a Dream Speech".

I recall that it was a summer afternoon, Wednesday to be exact and I remember my mother sitting us down in front of the television set to watch the March on Washington.

As young as we were, we knew that something special was taking place and thus, there was no debate about how we would rather be outside playing stickball instead on a summer afternoon.

We sat there, listened, watched and absorbed history in the making.

It was a memorable day for an eight year old. Marion Anderson AND Mahalia Jackson were present. Even more amazing is it that for some reason, much of the footage of both of these two incredible women that afternoon among others is so difficult to track down.

Moving on....Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Peter, Paul and Mary were among those who made history that afternoon in front of the Lincoln Memorial as well.

Many of the songs from the Civil Rights era are embedded in all of us. It was an emotional journey. After all, those were emotional times and having grown up during that era, watching it play out in the newspapers and on the 6:00 news, I found myself journeying further back than the March on Washington, aware that God was at the wheel. It's Death For Hasan!

Posted: 28 Aug 2013 02:22 PM PDT

hasan.jpg

Islamic terrorist Major Nidal Hasan is sentenced to death for his murderous jihadist attack at Ft. Hood!

Nidal Malik Hasan was sentenced to death Wednesday for killing 13 people and wounding 32 others in a 2009 shooting spree at Fort Hood, Tex., the worst mass murder at a military installation in U.S. history.

Dressed in Army fatigues, Hasan, who turns 43 next month, listened impassively as the death penalty was handed down by a panel of 13 senior military officers in a unanimous decision. If even a single panel member had objected, Hasan would instead have been sentenced to life in prison.

More here.

Death is almost too good for the bastard.

But now, Mr. President, it's time to call the Ft Hood shooting what it indeed was ... a terrorits attack by an Islamic jihadist. It had absolutely nothing to do with workplace violence.

Let's be clear, Obama's 'Syria Strike' is 'nothing more than political cover for being accused of doing nothing'

Posted: 28 Aug 2013 11:56 AM PDT

That bears repeating; all the BS and posturing aside,Obama's of 'Syria Strike' is nothing more than political cover for being accused of doing nothing. And should you doubt for a nanosecond that this is the case, look no further than what a U.S. official briefed on the military options being considered by President Obama told the Los Angeles Times:

"... the White House is seeking a strike on Syria 'just muscular enough not to get mocked.'"
From The Hill (below emphasis - mine):
[...] "They are looking at what is just enough to mean something, just enough to be more than symbolic," the official told the paper, giving credence to similar reports describing a limited military strike in the aftermath of last week's alleged chemical weapons attack.

NBC News reported earlier this week that the administration would launch three days of missile strikes, while CNN cited a senior administration official saying that the White House wanted to conclude any action before the president departs for the G-20 summit next week.

The New York Times also reported that the initial target list drafted by the Pentagon had fewer than 50 sites. The Pentagon has moved four U.S. Navy destroyers off the Syrian coast, which can launch low-altitude cruise missiles at selected sites. ...

More here.

What the L.A. Times is reporting is backed up by yesterday's Fox News report that any U.S. strike against Syria is "likely to last hours not days"and probably would not come before the British Parliament votes on military action.

In other words, we're likely to see indisputably nothing more than a token response to Syria's having crossed Obama's "red line."

Going by what we've seen during his entire time in office, it appears that every decision Barack Obama makes is centered on and based upon politics ... he seems incapable of making a substantive judgement or decision about any issue. With him, everything is all about covering his a**, pushing forward his ideological agenda (which includes helping and protecting the Muslim Brotherhood and Muslim causes) and how it benefits him politically.

Black Pittsburgh female teens brutally beat white woman in act of 'ethnic intimidation'

Posted: 28 Aug 2013 08:56 AM PDT

Ho-hum, just more of the same kind of story we've been hearing a lot about lately. More teenagers who happen to be African-American attacking a white person. In this case, the attackers were girls ... so I guess they 'could have been daughters of Obama'.

WPXI in Pittsburgh reports:

Three teenage girls are facing several charges, including ethnic intimidation, after police said they brutally beat a 32-year-old woman Sunday in Pittsburgh's North Side ...

According to police, the girls threw a bottle at the victim, Ginger Slepski's car, and when she stopped to confront the girls, they attacked her. ...

"The one punched me in the head, and I was on a set of concrete steps and my head hit the concrete so hard. Then they all got on top of me and all their hands were in my hair, and they kept telling each other 'kick her in the head, kick her head in the concrete,'" said Slepski ...

Officers said the woman was kicked, punched, robbed and left in the middle of the street. Police said they also called the victim a racial slur ...

Death Of A Dream

Posted: 28 Aug 2013 07:43 AM PDT

Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream so powerful he moved America into an enlightened state worthy of all mankind. But there were those who would not have it, and from the moment Dr. King spoke words of healing and liberation, those born of "evil" stepped in to destroy that dream. Barack Hussein Obama, a willing pawn in this story, is not the architect of this destruction but certainly he is driving the nail in the coffin. That the "evil" would chose a black man to accelerate the reversal of everything MLK accomplished is all the more diabolical.

H/T Pumabydesign001 - Martin Luther King, Jr. - I Have a Dream Speech, Wednesday, August 28, 1963

I will honor Dr. King by not be posting any footage of speeches made these past weeks or on this day by those who, in my opinion, have co-opted, stained, re-wrote and all but destroyed the legacy of Dr. King.

I will honor Dr. King by not posting any speeches of his children and some of his family members who are complicit in the Progressive revisionist history of Dr. King.

In a post prepared later today, I will, however, do a post on the music that shape the Civil Rights movement.

I will be visiting Puma's site later today to spend some time seeing thru one black woman's eyes those moments in time she speaks of.

My prayer this day and every day - Lord help us to move once again into the light.

Re: 'U.S.: Al Qaeda-linked Group Behind Benghazi Attack Trains Jihadists for Syrian Rebel Groups'

Posted: 28 Aug 2013 05:07 AM PDT

Bill Gertz reports at The Washington Free Beacon:

U.S. intelligence agencies earlier this month uncovered new evidence that al Qaeda-linked terrorists in Benghazi are training foreign jihadists to fight with Syria's Islamist rebels, according to U.S. officials.

Ansar al-Sharia, the al Qaeda-affiliated militia that U.S. officials say orchestrated the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. diplomatic compound and a CIA facility in Benghazi, is running several training camps for jihadists in Benghazi and nearby Darnah, another port city further east, said officials who discussed some details of the camps on condition of anonymity.

The officials said the terror training camps have been in operation since at least May and are part of a network that funnels foreign fighters to Syrian rebel groups, including the Al-Nusra Front, the most organized of the Islamist rebel groups fighting the Bashar al-Assad regime in Damascus.

More here.

So why, pray tell, is Barack Obama about to help al-Qaeda out in Syria by attacking Assad's forces? After all, the most successful rebel group in Syria are militant jihadists.

[...] Jihadists in other countries have done the same. In Yemen, al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula has filled the void created by a decrepit justice system. This is not a new phenomenon in Islamic lands. Historically, the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad played this role. By solving everyday dilemmas, ISIS is winning over Syrians' hearts and minds.

Syrians are equally impressed by the group's squeaky-clean image. In contrast to other brigades, whose motto is "fight by day, plunder by night," ISIS is a dedicated combat force. FSA forces steal everything from grain to air conditioners. Aleppo units, such as Ahrar Suriyya, Asifa al-Shamal, and Ghuraba al-Sham, have drawn the ire of a population increasingly viewing the revolution as mere cover for replacing a repressive regime with fiefdoms controlled by warlord bandits.

Syria is slowly becoming the jihadist haven al Qaeda has historically sought in the heart of the Arab world and Barack Obama is about to give them a big boost toward their objective. Assad is a tyrant, sure, but look what happened in Libya and Egypt when we ousted the 'dictators' ... al-Qaeda running free all over Libya and the Muslim Brotherhood controlling Egypt.

So far we're batting zero, and now Obama, without authority from Congress and without the cover of the UN, is about to repeat his previous mistakes.

OMG - Yet Another Attack On An Elderly White Woman (97-years-old) By Black Teen

Posted: 27 Aug 2013 05:40 PM PDT

Yesterday we posted on the 99-year-old woman murdered in her own home by a man who could look like Obama's son.

Today the story is about a very brave 93-year-old woman, Ms. Amelia Rudolf, who was raped by a 17-year-old black teen ... in her own bedroom:

amelia-rudolf.jpg

Her attacker, Iquise Anderson, was charged with rape, burglary, criminal confinement and strangulation.

raped 93 year old.jpg

Via MailOnline:

[...] Police say the youth lived within in a block of the woman's house. Investigators say he broke into her home by kicking in the back door and then sexually assaulted her.

[...] The 93-year-old had been sleeping at the time and awoke to find the youth in her bedroom.

[...] Mrs Rudolf, said that she was afraid she would not see justice in her lifetime and thanked the police for everything they had done to catch her attacker.
She told WWLP.com: 'I would like to go back because it is the house my husband built for me and my family. I have been happy all my life there until now.'

More here.

Oh, and while we're on the topic of black violence against whites, let's not forget about that Black Mob-In Training That Bullied 3-Year-Old White Girl on a Hot Wheels tricycle.

So I'll ask yet again for the umpteenth time, what in the hell is going on in black America lately with all the black violence against whites? Does anybody have an answer, anybody, even a clue? Let's hear it from Barack, Al, Jessie and the rest of the race-hustling crew that's been playing race card 24/7 ... especially since the Zimmerman trial!

PM Netanyahu Comments Following Security Consultations

Posted: 27 Aug 2013 01:14 PM PDT

Prayers going out to Israel. And we shall just have to presume there is and will remain an empty chair in the Black House throughout this very dangerous time.

First came this from Blood of the Lamb - BREAKING NEWS: Syria Positions 500 Scud Missiles At Israel in Preparation of War

Then this -

Netanyahu warns Israel will respond 'fiercely' if it sees any attempt of a Syrian attack

PM's Comments come after urgent security consultations meeting.

With the US poised for military action against Syria, and amid concern Damascus may respond by lashing out at Israel, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu held urgent security consultations in Tel Aviv Tuesday afternoon.

Following the meeting he reiterated that Israel was "prepared for any eventuality." While stressing that Israel was not involved in the Syrian Civil War, Netanyahu said that if Israel discerns any attempt at all to attack it, "we will respond, and we will respond fiercely."

On Monday, International Minister Yuval Steinitz said that the Syrian government's use of chemical weapons against its own people is a stark reminder of just how dangerous non-conventional weapons are in the hands of totalitarian regimes.

While calling on the world to stop Assad, Steinitz said Israel would not interfere in the turmoil roiling the Arab world.

"We are not going to interfere in the turmoil and internal conflicts around us," he said. "We want to stay out of the conflicts in the Arab world and in the Arab countries. I think this is a very reasonable and responsible policy."

Asked, however, if Jerusalem was not concerned about Syrian retaliation against Israel in case of an American attack, Steinitz said, "I think it will be insane for somebody to try to provoke Israel, but of course we are prepared for any scenario."

Does Barack Obama have the constitutional authority to unilaterally attack another country?

Posted: 27 Aug 2013 12:09 PM PDT

So, the president plans to attack Syria within days ... but does he have the constitutional authority to do so (not that the constitution matters a hoot to him)?

Well, certain administration sources say the president can't legally attack another country without congressional approval unless an attack on the U.S. is imminent.

And it turns out that those administration sources are none other than President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden!

In 2007, Barack Obama stated perfectly clearly that a president must have congressional approval to attack another country:

And according to Joe Biden, also in 2007, not only is a U.S. president constitutionally forbidden from attacking another country that doesn't present an imminent threat to America, but he said it is an impeachable offense:

Despite this having been said by Obama and Biden, we can expect much of the 'Obamamedia' to go all out to run cover and, as Doug Powers phrases it ... "kick-save any charges of hypocrisy" if President Obama unilaterally attacks Syria without congressional approval - ironically over WMDs no less.

Where was that media when GW was president! Oh, that's right, they were attacking him.

It Doesn't Make Sense

Posted: 27 Aug 2013 11:30 AM PDT

Our leaders aren't stupid. They may be foolish, they may be corrupt, but they aren't stupid.

This isn't just a Democrat phenomenon. It didn't start with President Obama's occupation of the White House. This is a manifestation of the Dualocracy: the regime of the government party, that great two headed Hydra wherein the Democrat and Republican Parties are merely two heads on the same bird of prey.

When we look at the current direction our country is going in many people say, "That just doesn't make sense." I hear this or a variation of it all the time. We see laws, regulations, and programs spewing forth from Chicago on the Potomac on a daily basis that just don't add up.

Why would our government spend us into the poorhouse? Borrow more money than anyone could ever pay back? Create money out of thin air like Weimar Republic? Pass Healthcare reform to insure millions thatâââ€Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒ¢Ã¢€Å¾Ã‚¢s really a tax, is almost incomprehensible even to those who supposedly wrote it, and doesn't insure anyone? Why would we help overthrow our friends to empower our enemies? Why do we look for ways to legalize illegals now and make promises about securing the border in the future? Why? Why? Why?

It doesn't make sense.

The problem is these people are too smart and their organizations are too well-oiled to do so much that is nonsensical. I don't believe the problem is that they are from Bizarro World or that they are political savants. I believe we are not looking at what is happening in and to our country in the proper context.

Much like a person who needs glasses: if the lenses aren't right everything looks blurry or distorted. So too when we look at the actions of intelligent people who are operating with a grand design of how they want the world to be and nothing makes any sense: we need some new lenses. The problem most Tea Party types have understanding what our dear leaders are doing is that we think they should be trying to preserve the America we received from our forefathers. We look at their actions, and they seem like the theater of the absurd.

Who would do what they do if they want what we want?

That's the key. They don't want what we want. We want to preserve our heritage and they want to fundamentally transform the United States of America. We believe the Constitution recognizes what the Declaration of Independence calls our "unalienable rights" and it is a good thing to limit government from having the power to violate those rights. Our Progressive masters bemoan the fact that the Constitution only gives negative rights which limit the power of the central government. They dream instead of a second bill of rights which bestows upon the central government and its mammoth bureaucracy a mandate to legislate, regulate, and strangulate us into their vision of utopia.

The problem with any Utopia is that it's always based upon coercion. People must be forced to do what some all-knowing god-like central authority decides is the way to achieve perfection. From Plato's Republic to Sir Thomas Moore's Utopia from Aldous Huxley's Brave New World to Kurt Vonnegut's Piano Player the visions of a perfect society herded and regimented by an all-powerful government will always end up as some dystopian reflection of George Orwell's 1984.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but perfection will never happen in this life. We are imperfect people living in an imperfect world. God has endowed us with certain rights and without them it is not possible to be all that we are meant to be. The only way to ensure them is to limit governments from violating them. That is why we have a Constitution to empower our government to do those things we need done for the general good such as defense and providing a sound money while limiting it from trampling upon the things that make us a free people, namely our freedom of action, our privacy and our inviolability as individuals.

In recent years this has been turned on its head as rights we plainly have, rights which are explicitly enumerated such as the right to keep and bear arms are endlessly debated and infringed upon while rights imagined are held up as constitutional.

A case in point: What ever happened to the Fourth Amendment?

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
This is where our God given right to privacy is acknowledged and protected by the Constitutional government of the United States. It expressly mentions the inviolability of our "houses, papers, and effects." It doesn't mention abortion. This is the pattern in America today: ignore what the Constitution plainly says and extol imagined things the Progressives wish it said.

Today a Progressive Supreme Court has decreed there is a constitutional right to privacy involved when a woman wants to terminate the life of an unborn child and nowhere else in our 21st century surveillance state America? The right to terminate life is protected and even subsidized by the central government and the right to have a private conversation is no longer acknowledged. Today in the post-constitutional America it is all right for the government to listen to and record every communication of every citizen and the one person who tells us that they are doing so is a traitor.

All it takes is the right set of lenses and we can see clearly. Rather than not making any sense it all makes total sense. Our leaders are leading us from where we have been: a constitutionally limited government ensuring personal freedom, individual liberty and economic opportunity to a centrally-planned, highly regimented, constantly watched society marching lock-step towards a utopia that will never work. With leaders like this all I can do is echo Scott Adams warning, "Don't step in the leadership."

Black Mob-In Training Bullies 3-Year-Old White Girl

Posted: 27 Aug 2013 07:44 AM PDT

Beyond disgusting: Four black children beat and taunt a three-year old white girl. Then the cameraman posted it on Facebook over the weekend with the heading, "When white people piss black people off."

Two thoughts quickly come to my mind; where are the parents (of both the little white girl and the black children), and what are the black children learning from their parents and community!

And as I've asked numerous times before, what in the hell is going on in black America lately with all the black violence against whites lately ... in this case having reached down to the level of young black children directing it against a '3-year-old little girl on a Hot Wheels tricycle'!

Surely it has nothing to do with all the race-hustling by Obama, Sharpton, Jackson, and other such irresponsible black leaders during and and since the Zimmerman trial ... or could it?

On the other hand, perhaps all of this isn't exactly new, as Pat Buchanan discusses in his must-read piece titled "Dead Souls of a Cultural Revolution," noting that ''interracial violence is overwhelmingly black-on-white' (with video).

Bottom line, the 'root cause' of this violence has nothing to do with the color of perpetrators' skin ... rather, the "content of their character" that Martin Luther King spoke of. Today, unlike in the days of Martin Luther King, the "content of their character" is derived not from the upbringing and discipline of two parents, a faith-based patriotic community of strong churches, and a culture based upon traditional values ... but from homes where the father is absent and the TV is always on. From radios tuned in to rap and hip-hop. From films where Hollywood values prevail and the shooting never stops. From street gangs that sometimes form the only families these kids have ever known.

And it all seems to be going downhill from there with no end in sight. And don't think for a moment that white children are immune for this same pattern as the "content of their character" devolves from the same influences.

Put another way, lots of luck America, unless we all move back to the traditional family, faith-based communities, and values we lived and that made us the greatest country on earth ... that is, I suggest, up until around 2008 or so.

Benghazi Attorney: At least two major networks 'fully engaged' on Benghazi; NSA just "tip of the iceberg"

Posted: 26 Aug 2013 03:40 PM PDT

Joe DiGenova, an attorney working with Benghazi whistleblowers, spoke with WMAL this morning and left two big hints about Benghazi and domestic spying by the government. Regarding Benghazi, DiGenova said people are coming out of the woodwork to talk to him about Benghazi and at least 2 major networks are fully engaged in trying to uncover more information about Benghazi. He also hinted that they are uncovering a lot more about domestic spying and not just by the NSA:

Looks like what Obama and his fellow Dems call "phony" scandals are growing, growing, growing ... and evolving.

But as for whether or not we'll ever know the whole truth about Benghazi, domestic spying, and the IRS while Obama is in office ... call me skeptical!

Update on sons of Obama

Posted: 26 Aug 2013 10:05 AM PDT

Two more criminals who could look like Obama's sons ... but surely, the violent acts of these thugs were not motivated by racial animosity, right?

First, the second suspect in the beating death of an 88-year-old WWII veteran has been arrested:

adamskinard-150x150.jpg

[...] Police say they arrested 16-year-old Kenan Adams-Kinard just after 3 a.m. on Monday morning in connection with the murder of Delbert Belton.

He was found in a basement apartment at 500 West Montgomery in Spokane and arrested without incident.

Police say good investigative work and follow up on dozens of tips help lead to the apprehension of the suspect.

Adams-Kinard was arrested on a First-Degree Robbery and First-Degree Murder warrant. Several other people with him have been arrested for rendering criminal assistance.

Next we have a 99-year-old woman murdered in her own home by a man who could look like Obama's son ...

kills 99 year old.jpg

[...] The 20-year-old City of Poughkeepsie man accused of burglarizing and murdering a 99-year-old city woman is being held without bail and is due in court Monday morning to face charges, authorities said, bringing relief to the woman's family.

Police arrested Javon Tyrek Rogers on Friday at 11 p.m. and charged him with first-degree murder and first-degree burglary, both felonies, in connection with the homicide of Fannie Gumbinger, who was found dead at her home on Underhill Avenue early Wednesday morning, said city police Detective Lt. Edward Freer. ...

Is anyone keeping track of what's really been going on lately? There seems to be a disturbing trend under way.

Why is it that if a white harms a black the media always calls it racially motivated ... but when one or more blacks murder old defenseless whites the media and Obama's DOJ never calls it racially motivated?

Just wondering ...

"America as we (thought) we knew her."

Two excerpts from an article at Canada Free Press - Are Police in America Now a Military, Occupying Force?

Despite the steady hue and cry by government agencies about the need for more police, more sophisticated weaponry, and the difficulties of preserving the peace and maintaining security in our modern age, the reality is far different. Indeed, violent crime in America has been on a steady decline, and if current trends continue, Americans will finish the year 2013 experiencing the lowest murder rate in over a century.

For those who want to credit hefty police forces for declining crime rates, the data just doesn't show a direct correlation. In fact, many cities across the country actually saw decreases in crime rates during the 1990s in the wake of increasing prison sentences and the waning crack-cocaine epidemic. Cities such as Seattle and Dallas actually cut their police forces during this time and still saw crime rates drop.

Some troubling figures culled from the above article:

LAPD has 10,000 police officers. That's 469 officers per square mile. A 36% increase within the last eight years.

New York has 36,000 officers. 303 per square mile.

Chicago has 13,400 officers. 227 per square mile.

There are no separate numbers in the article for SWAT team personnel within our police departments. Only these figures:

25.6% of towns w/populations between 25K & 50K people had a SWAT team in 1984.

80 percent by 2005.

3,000 (roughly) SWAT team-style raids in the US in 1980

45,000 by 2001

80,000 SWAT team raids per year currently.

100 plus American homes per day have their homes raided by SWAT teams currently.

The federal government has multiple agencies with their own SWAT teams, including the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Consumer Product Safety Commission, NASA, the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services, the US National Park Service, and the FDA.

This comment was left in the comments section of a related article elsewhere by someone named Gyrwan - "Borders, Language, & Culture" as Michael Savage used to say (does he still say it? I haven't listened to him in a long while) were all dissolved as we slept through the 1990s and spent Bush's first 4 years getting over our shock and righteous rage at the 9/11 attacks while thinking that Islam was the greatest threat to America as we (thought) we knew her.

More Black on White Violence: Two blacks douse white man with gasoline, set him on fire

Posted: 23 Aug 2013 09:21 PM PDT

What, pray tell, is going on with all the black on white violence lately?

This time it's not teenagers committing the anti-white violence, it's adult blacks ... Robert Glasper and Renard King, who doused a white man with gasoline near Memphis and then set him on fire.

gassers.jpg

WMC-TV reports:

A Memphis man remains in the hospital at the burn unit after police say he was set on fire. Authorities identified two suspects wanted for the crime.

Police say the man suffered injuries to most of his body.

Prior arrests meant Memphis police already had mug shots on file for 26-year-old Robert Glasper and 19-year-old Renard King. Police identified the two Thursday for allegedly being responsible for a horrific crime two weeks ago.

It happened in the 700 block of Glankler Street. A man was doused with gasoline and set on fire in a vacant lot behind an abandoned house.

Neighbor Robert Pearson could not recall the victim's name but remembers his screams.

More here.

Here's the video report:

Antoinette Tuff and Schopenhauer

Posted: 23 Aug 2013 03:29 PM PDT

Schopenhauer - from The World As Will and Idea - with the first part of the quote set up/explained by author unknown to me.

Because our actions are the mirror of our timeless will and we get to know ourselves after the actions took place, "it behooves us to strive and fight in time, in order that the picture that we produce by our deeds may be such that the contemplation of it may calm us as much as possible instead of harassing us."
We cannot know beforehand (only after the fact) how we will react in any given situation, therefore it is a good thing to visualize, prepare, to contemplate one's navel with regard to growing and becoming the best we can be.

This video is audio only of Antoinette Tuff at the school where she is a bookkeeping clerk. She is on the phone with 911 while in the room with a young man armed with an AK47 type rifle and a whole lot of ammunition.

I think those trained militarily could beforehand have some confidence in how they would handle this kind of situation, but how many of us would ever even contemplate facing this? My impression of Antoinette Tuff is that she is just a normie. Maybe the school had had meetings to discuss what to do if... I don't know the answers to that. I do know she was absolutely amazing. Calm, soothing, very kind, always letting him think he was in charge and making the decisions.

There is no question in my mind she effected the outcome of the situation. While I never felt he was going to shoot up the place, she didn't and couldn't know that for sure. Whatever her upbringing, or her life experiences, or her personal training I have no idea on that either, I am just grateful she was the one there at that moment in time.

Hats off to you Antoinette Tuff, wherever you are.

Second suspect identified in fatal beating of Delbert Belton

Posted: 23 Aug 2013 02:35 PM PDT

Meet 'tough guy' Kenan Adams-Kinard, killer of frail, defenseless, kind, 84 year-old men:

BSXl9SqCIAALrVe.jpg

Adams-Kinard is the second 'tough guy' suspect, currently on the run after the fatal beating of Delbert Belton. Kenan Adams-Kinard has a criminal history, but the extent of it isn't known yet.

The other suspect, 16-year-old Demetrius Glenn, who turned himself into police on Friday.

451503-20130823-192848-640x360.png Glenn was charged with murder and robbery, and is reported to have a long criminal history including "riot" with a deadly weapon. He's a fan of rapper Chief Keef, similar to the three alleged killers of Australian student Christopher Lane, who often posted Keef's lyrics on social media. One of Glenn's favorite YouTube videos is a report on Keef's possible involvement in the murder of another rapper, Lil JoJo. (More here).

Under Obama's watch black unemployment back to twice the white rate

Posted: 23 Aug 2013 12:47 PM PDT

Via The Washington Examiner:

Black unemployment, which at the end of the Bush administration broke a decades-long pattern of being twice white unemployment, has resumed its disturbing and prolonged trend under President Obama, with the rate among African Americans now at 13.4 percent, according to a new Pew Research report. ...
Unfortunately, Black Americans have little basis upon which to complain about the situation. After all ... they are getting what they voted for when they helped put the government in the hands of a guy that never managed anything buy community organizing.

Guilty on All Counts!'

Posted: 23 Aug 2013 12:20 PM PDT

Army psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan, the Islamist allowed to stay in the U.S. Army when everyone above him knew he was an Islamist - and then committed the 2009 shooting spree at Fort Hood that left 14 dead and 31 injured, was convicted on all counts today, of premeditated murder and attempted murder, by a unanimous vote of the 13-member panel of military officers.

Now, Mr. President, will you finally admit that Hassan is an Islamic terrorist and the Ft. Hood shooting was an act of Islamic terrorism ... and not continue with your laughable designation of "workplace violence"!

James Woods leads call for justice for slain World War II vet Delbert Belton

Via Twitchy:

No community organizer was necessary to inspire calls for justice for Delbert Belton, the World War II veteran beaten to death by two teenagers Wednesday night in North Spokane, Wash. Actor James Woods was among those anxious to send Belton's name trending and demand justice in the case.

89-year-old WWII veteran Beaten To Death by two black teens in Spokane, WA

Posted: 22 Aug 2013 05:50 PM PDT

WWII veteran Delbert Belton survived being wounded in action during the Battle of Okinawa only to be beaten and left for dead by two black teens at the Eagles Lodge in Spokane on Wednesday evening.

Delbert-Belton1.jpg

KXLY-TV reports:

[...] Belton, 89, died from the injuries he suffered in the beating Thursday morning at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Witnesses say the Belton was in the parking lot of the Eagles Lodge at 6410 N. Lidgerwood, adjacent to the Eagles Ice-A-Rena, around 8 p.m. Wednesday when the two male suspects attacked him.

Belton died from his injuries Thursday at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

"Shorty," as he was known by his friends at the Eagles Lodge, served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific during WWII and was shot in the leg during the Battle of Okinawa. He went on to work at Kaiser Aluminum at the company's Trentwood plant for more than 30 years.

He loved playing pool, even though he claimed he was no good at it and had been a member of the Eagles Lodge for the last four months. In addition to playing pool he loved working on cars.

Belton's wife passed away several years ago.

Spokane police are looking for two male suspects in the attack. They said the suspects are African Americans between 16 and 19 years old. ...

More here.

Photos of the homicide suspects are here.

Things are going terribly wrong in America, especially in certain cultures, when teens attack and murder the most vulnerable. What in the hell motivates teens to attack and beat to death an 89 year-old man?

As The Right Scoop aptly notes, we can't yet say that the attack was race-based because we don't know, but clearly we've seen a lot of crimes like this lately.

No word yet on this from the likes of Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, et.al.

And let's not forget, the teens could have been Obama's sons.

Benghazi Victim's Mother Says Hillary Lied: 'You Don't Want This Person to be President' (Video)

Posted: 22 Aug 2013 03:46 PM PDT

Pat Smith, mother of Sean Smith who was one of four Americans who died in the 9/11 attack on the American diplomatic facility in Benghazi, wants the world to know what she thinks of Hillary Clinton, and why!

Via Andrew Johnson at The Corner:

[...] On Fox News this morning, Smith said that the former secretary of state had broken her promise to the grieving mother to hold the people accountable for the security failure. According to Smith, Clinton told her she would investigate the attack and contact her, but she never ended up hearing back from America's top diplomat.

"Not only that, but she knew at the time that it was wrong what she was telling me," Smith said, referring to the administration's claim that the attacks were instigated by a YouTube video. "I want the whole world to know it: she lied to my face, and you don't want this person to be president." ...

A Mad Man By Any Other Name Is Still A Mad Man

Posted: 22 Aug 2013 03:19 PM PDT

Roger L. Simon's article at PJMedia - Obama's Strange Love Affair with the Muslim Brotherhood - is more about Obama probably being certifiably mad than his having a lopsided love affair with terrorists. Maybe one is just not supposed to come right out and say that? Woops...

He speaks of the unfathomable position Osama has taken and seemingly will not be uprooted from on the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt or anywhere, plus a few other dis-attached moments in his presidency.

What is the explanation for this absolutely self-destructive, even idiotic, policy on our part?

There can be only one -- the president of the United States is actually psychologically disturbed. He does not react in a normal manner. I know that's a vicious and importunate thing to say, but the reaction to Egypt (and to Benghazi, for that matter) is not one of a psychologically healthy human being.

Yes, there are many examples that could be added here but I shall mention just one because it is such a mind blower, and that is Hussein Obama's position on Syria. His support of Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda as in - World Trade Center bombing? To think for even one second the American public would be behind supporting Al Qaeda is insane!

Oh, damn, wait. I guess (for lack of show of hands) the American public is. Please note, the name of this post "should have been" - A Mad Country By Any Other Name Is Still a Mad Country.

And on the subject of Syria - 30,000 refugees into northern Iraq in the last week. Talk about surreal. Healthy/capable looking humans with hearts and minds like every other person on this planet. Not a lot of old people. Mostly men. Virtually no one carrying anything. Like they just up and started walking from whatever spot they were standing on the instant they heard the bridge was open. It is heart breaking.

LNTV Video Report: Obama's Fundamental Transformation of America Accelerating Dangerously

Posted: 22 Aug 2013 03:09 PM PDT

Today's LNTV covers a wide range of issues surrounding Barack Obama's radical agenda of "Fundamentally Transforming America":

From immigration to education, health care to business fortunes, Obama and his pack of progressives are pushing hard to reach a dangerous level of transformation.
Interesting, but lacks depth.

Back in July of this year Jeffrey Folks addressed Obama's transformation of America as a nation Obama despises. Folks concluded his excellent piece with this wake up call:

From the flow per second of your morning shower to the temperature at which you set your thermometer at night, from the car you drive to what you eat, from where and how your children are educated to how you fund your retirement, Obama wants government to control every moment of your existence. Long ago, in a glorious revolution, Americans rejected this sort of tyranny when it was imposed on them by the British Crown. Our only chance now is at the ballot box in 2014 and 2016.

Polled Unemployment Soars To March 2012 Levels

Posted: 22 Aug 2013 09:53 AM PDT

Unemployment rates have jumped notably in the last month to their highest in 13 months.

20130822_unemp_0.jpg

Via Zero Hedge:

[...] Gallup tracks daily the percentage of U.S. adults, aged 18 and older, who are underemployed, unemployed, and employed full-time for an employer, without seasonal adjustment. Due to the lack of Arima-X 'magic' the results are specifically not comparable to the BLS data, but, as the chart below suggests, the correlation is high. What is most worrying about the latest data is the rapid rise in both unemployment and underemployment that the Gallup poll finds (to 8.9% unemployment and 17.9% underemployment. ...
As we posted yesterday, Gallup is showing a sizable 30 day jump in the unemployment rate, from 7.7% on July 21 to 8.9% today.

Interestingly, these numbers appear to jive with what could be the 'anticipatory' reasoning behind Obama's billionaire BFF George Soros having made a huge bearish bet against the Obama economy. When a man that makes his money on money and betting on the future bets against the economy, and just happens to be a huge supporter of Barack Obama and radically far-left liberal-progressive causes, it speaks volumes about where he thinks Obamanomics is taking us.

Mubarak released

Posted: 22 Aug 2013 09:25 AM PDT

Mubarak.jpgDeposed Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak has been released from jail after being held almost constantly since the day he was removed from power in February 2011:

[...] CAIRO (AP) - Egypt's ousted leader Hosni Mubarak was released from prison Thursday and transported to a military hospital in a Cairo suburb where he will be held under house arrest, according to state TV.

Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi had ordered that Mubarak be put under house arrest as part of the emergency measures imposed this month after a wave of violence sparked by the ouster of Islamist leader Mohammed Morsi, who had succeeded Mubarak as Egypt's first freely elected President.

Thursday's move followed a court decision ordering Mubarak's release in relation to charges of receiving gifts from a state-owned newspaper.

More here.

Although Mubarak's release is 'temporary' with other charges yet to be resolved, look for this to infuriate the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist supporters. Tomorrow's Friday, and you know what that means - 'prayer' day is usually 'rage' day.

Just NOW "pissed" off? I don't think so!

Posted: 22 Aug 2013 07:59 AM PDT

I'm posting this simply as a what's he currently saying moment but as far as America just now being/getting "pissed" off - West is way behind the swing. We've been "pissed" off for a very long time. Tell us something we don't already know Allen! Say something new Allen. Say whatever it's going to take to get American's to remember we've got a backbone and not one consumed by Osteoporosis!

Via Allen West Republic - Allen West: Benghazi "Obama, Clinton, Rice, Kerry, and puppet-mistress, Jarrett. Congratulations, you all just pissed off the country."

When it comes to resolving the Benghazi incident, it's like Obi Wan's line from Star Wars, "move along, nothing to see here." A year after a US Ambassador was murdered during an Islamic terrorist attack along with a State Department official, while two former US Navy SEALS were abandoned to die, as Hillary Clinton stated, "what difference does it make?" It seems if you're in the Obama Administration you can clearly lie and deceive the American people as Obama, Clinton, and Susan Rice did. You can stonewall any attempts to find and interview the 30-35 survivors. You can disperse and hide CIA operatives who were there in Benghazi at an annex. You can be John Kerry and tell the country, it's all good and everything is fine. It is not fine, it is not a phony scandal and this blatant disrespect of the families who lost their loved ones, and disregard of the American people is despicable. The level of corruption being displayed in this cover-up is highly disturbing, and yes, seemingly reflective of high crimes and misdemeanors by Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, John Kerry, and the puppet-mistress, Valerie Jarrett. Congratulations, you all just pissed off the country.

Gallup: Unemployment Rate Jumps from 7.7% to 8.9% ... In 30 Days

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 02:34 PM PDT

Via Breitbart:

Outside of the federal government's Bureau of Labor statistics, the Gallup polling organization also tracks the nation's unemployment rate. While the BLS and Gallup findings might not always perfectly align, the trends almost always do and the small statistical differences just haven't been worthy of note. But now Gallup is showing a sizable 30 day jump in the unemployment rate, from 7.7% on July 21 to 8.9% today.

This is an 18-month high.

More here.

As the Breitbart piece goes on to note, Gallup also shows an alarming increase in the number of underemployed (those with some work seeking more). During the same 30-day period, that number has jumped from 17.1% to 17.9%.

Jesse Jackson Sr. on senseless murder of Aussie baseball player Chris Lane by 3 black teens: "It's frowned upon"

Once in a while someone says something so 'jaw-droppingly' absurd that it begs comment!

Three black teenage thugs murder a white baseball player "for the fun of it" because "they were bored" ... and all Jackson can manage to say is that "it's frowned upon"?

If my memory serves me right he had whole lot to say when a Hispanic neighborhood watchman shot a black teenager in self defense (as determined by a jury). As a matter of fact he couldn't stop calling it racism.

Egyptian Official ties Obama's Brother to Brotherhood - says 'Obama weak against Muslim Brotherhood because brother is major funder for them'

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 10:08 AM PDT

Tahani_Al-Jebali.jpg
It has previously been confirmed back in May of this year that Barack Obama's half brother, Malik Obama, helps fund international terrorism with his so-called humanitarian group, "Barack H. Obama Foundation" that Lois Lerner helped get tax-exempt status in record time.

So it's certainly no surprise to learn that Malik Obama's fundraising is connected to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood.

What is different here is that an Egyptian official is warning Americans that Barack Obama won't crack down on the Muslim Brotherhood because his brother is helping finance them (emphasis below - mine):

Egyptian government and mainstream media has reported a major development regarding the role of Barack Obama's brother (presumably, his half-brother Malik Obama) with the Muslim Brotherhood. As we have reported before, Malik is a member of the Islamic Da'wa Organization (IDO), an arm of the Sudanese government, which is led by President Omar al-Bashir, who is himself a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.

These facts would lend credibility to the following claims from Egypt. It is also important to note that August 25th is a very key date in Egypt; it is when imprisoned Muslim Brotherhood leaders go on trial there.

The former Chancellor of the Constitutional Court of Egypt and current adviser, Tahani Al-Jebali stated that the reason the United States cannot fight the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood is because the brother of U.S. President Barack Obama is the architect of the investments for the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Jebali stated she would like ...

"to inform the American people that their president's brother Obama is one of the architects of the major investments of the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood."
She added ...
"We will carry out the law and the Americans will not stop us. We need to open the files and begin court sessions. The Obama administration cannot stop us; they know that they supported terrorism. We will open the files so these nations are exposed, to show how they collaborated with them [the terrorists]. It is for this reason why the American administration fights us."
Another prominent Arabic source has Jebali adding this damning (to the U.S.) statement:
"Documents from the Egyptian national security must be brought into the light in order to confirm that this international organization (Muslim Brotherhood) shows exchanges with the CIA so as to reach the power center of (Egypt)."
Much more on the story HERE.

Regardless as to whether or not Barack Obama's reason for siding with the Muslim Brotherhood has anything whatsoever to do with his brother's funding of the terrorist organization (and as much as I dislike Obama's agenda, policies, and ideology ... I find it hard to believe that his half-brother has anything to do with his Islamaphilia and his bizarre infatuation with the Muslim Brotherhood), the problem here is that juxtaposed with Barack Obama's obvious Islamaphilia, the fact that an Egyptian official believes it means that much of the Egyptian secular and Christian population are going to believe it. This will only serve to further distance the U.S. from what was once a strong and important ally.

Bribe? Who said anything about a bribe?

Eleanor (that would be "the" Eleanor Holmes Norton) is just "candidly" reminding a lobbyist that she is a Congress critter (albeit non-voting) and that she is very important, and her "la hooong and deep work" (in this lobbyists sector) seems to have gone unnoticed by him/her, and, well, she needs money honey! I don't call that a bribe, I call it arm twisting! A stretch to call it blackmail maybe - but definitely arm twisting!

And on the other end you can just hear it - Marissa! Bring me my checkbook, stat!

On Obamas Jewel of Denial

obama egypt pyramid.jpg
George Neumayr manages to succinctly sum up Barack Obama's foreign policy in the Middle East in just one short paragraph:

"This is pathetic. Absolutely no American interest can explain it. The only explanation is Obama's excessive regard for Islam. He was bound and determined to "reset" relations with it, and he got one in the form of scorched embassies, dead diplomats, and a radicalized Egypt, bloodied and torn."
Neumayr writes at The American Spectator that Obama's Islamophilia contributed to the mess in Egypt (emphasis below - mine):
At the root of America's disastrous policy on Egypt lies Obama's Islamophilia, a stance which leads him to mistake friends for enemies and enemies for friends. Even at this late date, he can't make the most basic distinctions between pro-American Egyptian military leaders and anti-American Islamic terrorists. His foreign policy rests not on America's interests but on politically correct prattle about a non-existent Islamic spring.

According to Senator Patrick "Leaky" Leahy, the Obama administration has suspended aid to Egypt. Naturally, the GOP's reflexively interventionist busybodies support this decision. "For us to sit by and watch this happen is a violation of everything that we stood for," babbled Senator John McCain on CNN's "State of the Union." What exactly is "everything that we stood for"? Egging on the Muslim Brotherhood? Delivering up a U.S. ally of three decades to a jihadist mob? Protecting democratically elected terrorists who once in power moved to destroy democracy and persecute Christians?

Take the time to read the whole thing.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has promised to compensate Egypt for any aid that Western countries might withdraw in response to the harsh tactics employed by Egypt's leaders to quell the violent protests and church burnings by the Muslim Brotherhood and its fellow terrorist supporters.

Don't Come Home - the Police State Grows

Looking at The Garden of Eden is for me like time travel. It is a way of life so close to the way my best friend Lauri and her husband lived in America. They have been in Belgium for the last few years and are considering returning. I will be sending the below material for their consideration.

The incident (an early morning/day-long police/swat raid) is about choices we make for ourselves, the responsibility that goes with those choices, and those who don't like our choices. In my (not so humble) opinion, someone had a bee up their bonnet about these people and decided to make their life miserable with plenty of help from the Arlington (Texas) Police Department and SWAT team.

From GrumpyElder - SWAT Team Raids Texas Organic Farm in search of ,,, Blueberries - WTF - Excerpts -

A SWAT team broke through the gates of a small Arlington, Texas farm and led a massive 10-hour search of the property. The residents were handcuffed and held at gunpoint while they watched more than 10 tons of their property hauled off in trucks.

What dangerous contraband required this massive governmental response? It wasn't illegal explosives, stolen vehicles or drugs, but rather organic blackberry bushes, okra plants, and sunflowers.

The Garden of Eden is a 3.5-acre farm that promotes a sustainable lifestyle. Back in February, Arlington started complaining about possible city code violations. Officials said that the grass was too tall, bushes were too close to the street, and chopped wood wasn't stacked in a government-approved manner. Basically, HOA-style complaints where no homeowners' association exists. Continue HERE.

Statements by homeowner Shellie Smith and Quinn:

"They came here under the guise that we were doing a drug trafficking, marijuana-growing operation," owner Shellie Smith said. "They destroyed everything." She said that officers shielded their nametags so they couldn't be identified and didn't produce a warrant until two hours after the raid started.

Quinn Eaker resident -
It is absurd to punish or rule one on their personal path of freedom when it is affecting no one else. Do no harm: this is the Golden Rule, Natural Law, God's Law. This is what the constitution of the United States of America is based upon. Freedom and Responsibility.

Now the line may appear to be more blurry in our situation with the City, but it is not. If we choose upon our own land to have tall grasses that we juice and support the habitat of the many animals, bugs, birds and life here, then it is OUR choice and our RIGHT to make that choice freely. If we want to build our own home out of earth (which has been very well documented for thousands of years as being FAR superior to the common building practices seen in suburbs across the world of "civilized" countries today), it is our right to walk that path.

The only way freedom can exist is in responsibility. We are aware of this and do not expect anyone to be responsible for our well being. That is our Soul mission in life. To thrive~*~

If we want to build a home and we build it, then we are responsible for its function and performance. If it proves faulty or something happens to it, it is NO ones fault but our own, and we are the ones to bear the burden of the failure. Freedom and Responsibility. This is very simple, very easy, and it WORKS. The more complicated we make it, the more rules there are; the more taxation and lack of responsibility, the less freedom, the more hindered and the less life is truly lived. With great freedom comes great responsibility, and we do not want one without the other.

The pictures (that say a thousand words) hardly depict a way of life harmful to individuals, including the children involved, or society. Judge for yourselves.

It is a mistake to view the Garden of Eden as some retro hippie type commune practicing peace and love and living off the earth counter culture life style. It is anything but. It is a chosen way of life in both personal needs fulfillment/sharing/responsibility/happiness, and what looks like a healthy and prosperous business. These people are thriving, not merely surviving, and someone tried to destroy them.

Reuters: Obamacare is hurting economy and creating nation of part-time, mostly low paid, workers

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 05:37 AM PDT

part time help wanted.jpg
To be clear, Obamacare does have some good points. On the other hand, its bad points far outway the good points.

And now we have even Reuters beginning to tell the truth:

U.S. businesses are hiring at a robust rate. The only problem is that three out of four of the nearly 1 million hires this year are part-time and many of the jobs are low-paid.

Faltering economic growth at home and abroad and concern that President Barack Obama's signature health care law will drive up business costs are behind the wariness about taking on full-time staff, executives at staffing and payroll firms say.

Employers say part-timers offer them flexibility. If the economy picks up, they can quickly offer full-time work. If orders dry up, they know costs are under control. It also helps them to curb costs they might face under the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

This can all become a less-than-virtuous cycle as new employees, who are mainly in lower wage businesses such as retail and food services, do not have the disposable income to drive demand for goods and services.

More HERE.

One would think that the Democrats and the Republicans could come together and agree to something like commonsense health care reform that would lower costs and increase access and quality at a price our country can afford ... while including the few popular items in Obamacare.

After all, we supposedly sent the politicians to Washington to serve the interests of the American people ... not radical idiologically-based political agendas such as "fundamentally transforming America".
